Coriolis Independent Project

Overview: The Coriolis Independent Project was a project assigned to me to work with any department within the Coriolis team. For this project I work independently on a project assigned to me from the social media department within Coriolis. The project included researching high engagement posts, drafting captions, researching potential social media influencers, and potential influencer customers.

Task: The task was to complete all 4 of the assigned tasks from the Coriolis social media department independently within the month time frame.

Process: Once assigned the tasks I began with using old posts and ChatGBT to generate new and engaging captions for Coriolis social media posts. For this task I had to incorporate Coriolis company tone and aesthetic to the   For the next assignment I researched new academic, scholar, and professor authors who have recently published books and have advertised them on their own personal social media. I then found their contact information and the information about their book. This will allow Coriolis to bring in new clients by contacting them directly about their new book.  Then I began finding popular scholar book posts. I searched through platforms such as instagram, tiktok, Twitter, Facebook, and bluesky. Lastly, I looked on almost all social media platforms for popular social media book reviewers to potentially send books to. For this task there was a set requirement for the amount of followers and and like that the person had to have in order to be included as a potential partner.

Results: Overall, the project was done effectively and in a timely manner. I was able to generate over 60 new captions for Coriolis usage. I found over 80 new scholar, academic, or professor authors advertising their books on their social media page. Over 100 Book review influencers across all platforms. And over 50 high engagement posts about books.
